2. The shift from 2nd to 3rd is very harsh and will actually throw you back in your seat. 2nd will go up to 4k or higher rpms sometimes and then shift to 3rd. When I let the car warm up for 5 minutes it shifts the worst. But even when the car is fully up to temp it will still have the harsh shift. Hi all, I’m a Newbie with a query regarding the service interval for my newly acquired (via Ford Direct) 68 plate Kuga ST Line X AWD Automatic with 2.0l Duratorq TDCI engine. The dealer has implied the service interval is 18000miles/2 years whereas Ford Customer Relations state 10000 miles/1 year. The Service Booklet just says for this engine 6th year or 75K miles which ever comes first, that service I'm led to believe is circa £900 as it will more than likely have a DPF that is scheduled for replacing at that service interval. Premium tyres if it's on 16's can be had for circa £80 a corner, 17's are circa £130, budget obviously cheaper. DQm5sYh.
